ontario safety inspections
Ministry of LABOUR
In 1997 the Ministry of Labour devised safety guidelines for proper training and defined "competent" operators of powered lift trucks. Revised guidelines in 1998 focused on the maintenance of Powered Lift Trucks. These guidelines are straight forward to ensure the lift trucks are maintained and all companies are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Along with identifying hazardous situations and training, selection of lift trucks are crucial to ensure a safe environment for your workers. Inspections are done once a year. For high volume usage, typically after every 2,000 hours proper safety maintenance is needed. BL LIFT is experienced with qualified experts in lift truck safety standards to ensure that you meet the ministry guidelines.
